For stripping magnet wires, coils and resistor leads to within .031" (.8mm) of the component.  Can strip round magnet wire from 6 to 25 AWG (4.1mm – .45mm) using various steel or carbide inserts and can cut strip lengths up .625" (16mm) with stop rod installed or up to 2.87" (72mm) on certain wires with stop rod removed. A flexible shaft attachment is available for working in restricted areas or where portability is a necessity and is used for magnet wire in the 15 to 25 AWG (1.45mm – .45mm) range.
